AIIMS NORCET 11 Recruitment 2026: Apply Online for Nursing Officer Posts

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi has officially released the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET-11) Notification 2026 for the recruitment of Nursing Officer posts in various AIIMS institutions and participating Central Government hospitals across India. Eligible candidates can submit their online applications from 24 July 2026 to 13 August 2026 (up to 5:00 PM) through the official AIIMS examination portal.

Application Fee

Application fee can be paid online through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or other available online payment methods. Once paid, the fee will not be refunded.

Age Limit

The age limit for Nursing Officer posts is:

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 30 Years (for most participating AIIMS)

The crucial date for determining the age limit will be the closing date of online registration, and age relaxation will be applicable as per Government of India rules for reserved categories.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must fulfill either of the following eligibility criteria:

Option 1

• B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing
• OR B.Sc. Nursing
• OR Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing
• Registered as Nurse & Midwife with the State/Indian Nursing Council.

Option 2

• Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery (GNM)
• Registered as Nurse & Midwife with the State/Indian Nursing Council.
• Minimum two years of experience in a 50-bedded hospital after obtaining the required qualification.

Candidates must ensure that they fulfill all eligibility conditions before submitting the application form.

Selection Process

The recruitment process consists of the following stages:

1. NORCET Stage-I Computer Based Test
2. NORCET Stage-II Computer Based Test
3. Document Verification
4. Medical Examination
5. Final Appointment

Only candidates qualifying in Stage-I will be eligible to appear for Stage-II.

Salary

Selected candidates will be appointed as Nursing Officers in participating AIIMS/Institutes under the 7th Central Pay Commission Pay Matrix Level-7, along with Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance, National Pension System (NPS), Medical Facilities, Leave Benefits, and other admissible Government allowances.
